“While most of us still remember the last exhibition of the Holy Robe in 2012, the one from 1959 seems less present in our collective memory—even though it was precisely that event that brought us all great joy, matchday after matchday: faced with the massive influx of visitors, the city of Trier sought ways to provide for and accommodate the countless pilgrims.
